Goodbye Palis. Your life was cut too short because you didn’t get the care you deserved. Humans let you down; and despite trying everything, we could never make up for years of neglect. We hope we showed you that some humans are good inside. You came to us with a sad spirit and broken body, yet still so grateful for the small comforts we provided you with. May you rest peacefully now that you had a taste of the good life – the life a dog deserves. You were part of our family and spent your last few months happy and spoiled with all the treats you could eat, bones you could bury, a soft warm bed indoors and plenty of butt scratches. We only wish it lasted longer. You are missed.
