The GAR Thrift Shop and Adoption Center is now open each Saturday! 11am – 3pm. 5502 Virginia Ave, Pembroke (Rt. 460). Rain or Shine. Will benefit Giles Animal Rescue. Furniture, antiques, glassware, books, artwork, videos, games, toys, baby items, misc household items, jewelry, jeans of all sizes, and much more. If you would like to volunteer, or donate an item, contact Christine, 540-626-7409.
When possible, and if we have enough volunteers, we now have space inside the shop for fostered pets to be on display and offered for adoption during hours we are open to the public.
Lots of seasonal decor for the upcoming holidays and many items that will make great Gifts.
We have several really nice dolls, some are new (collectibles). And jewelry for everyone (some new)! Come out and do some shopping, you may find that perfect gift for someone.
We have truckloads of donations, so come and check us out. Items include, furniture, estate items, movies, jewelry, household items, jeans of all sizes, baby items, books, artwork, home decor, antiques, etc.
Donations may be dropped off during store hours or call and make arrangements (tax deductible receipts available). We need more volunteers to assist customers and accept incoming donations; please consider coming out for a great cause.
