4th Annual Spring Rabies Vaccination Clinic – March 8th

Rabies1

Giles Animal Rescue, with the help of holistic vet Marjorie Lewter, DVM, held a rabies vaccination clinic in Pembroke on Saturday, March 8th.  The Giles Breakfast Lions Club had members on hand to direct traffic for this “drive-through” clinic.  Owners were asked to remain in their vehicles with their pets and pull up one at a time to the vet station, where their animals received their vaccination without leaving the car or truck.  A total of 121 dogs and cats were vaccinated and on their way.  GAR also offered HomeAgain™ microchips that can be scanned by shelters or vets to identify pets and reunite them with their owners. Many people received information about low-cost spay/neuter services as well.  Giles Animal Rescue would like to thank the many volunteers who came out to help make this event such a success.
